Beyoncé Giselle Knowles adalah seorang penyanyi, penulis lagu, produser rekaman, aktris, penari, koreografer, model, & perancang busana Amerika yang lahir tanggal 4 September 1981 di Houston, Texas, USA. Aliran musiknya R&B, pop, soul, & hip hop di label Columbia yang aktif dalam music sejak 1997 hingga sekarang dengan website www.beyonceonline.com.Ia pernah bergabung dalam Destiny’s Child yaitu grup wanita dengan penjualan terbaik sepanjang masa di dunia. Sekarang ia bersolo karir sejak ia mengeluarkan album solonya pada tahun 2003 dan menjual 75 juta kopi rekaman diseluruh dunia selama ia bersolo karir.

            Ia adalah anak pertama dari 3 bersaudara. Adik – adiknya bernama Mathew Knowles & Tina Knowles ,Ayahnya keturunan Afrika – Amerika, Ibunya bernama Louisiana Creole yang keturunan Afrika – Perancis – Amerika – Irlandia. Beyoncé pernah tergabung dalam grup music wanita Destiny’s Childyang telah mengangkat namanya yang terbentuk tahun 1993 tapi masuk dalamColumbia Records tahun 1997. Mereka pertama kali masuk dalam music nasional ketika lagu pertama mereka mengisi film “Men in Black” tahun 1997, lalu mereka mengeluarkan single pertama mereka yang berjudul “No, No, No” yang berhasil memenagkan 3 Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards dan penghargaan bergengsi lainnya.

 Beyoncé akhirnya memutuskan untuk keluar dari Destiny’s Child yang telah membesarkan namanya dengan bersolo karir. Beyoncé mengeluarkan album solo pertamanya yaitu “Dangerously in Love” tahun 2003 yang berhasil masuk dalam album nomor 1 di Billboard 200 chart. Bukan saja albumnya yang mendapat respon positif tapi single pertamanya yaitu “Crazy in Love” yang berduet dengan pacarnya yaitu Jay-Z yang berhasil menempati peringkat 1 selama 8 minggu di Billboard Hot 100. Beyoncé menikah dengan Jay-Z di New York tanggal 4 April 2008 dan mempunyai anak bernama Blue Ivy Carter tahun 2012.  Beyoncé banyak terinspirasi dari beberapa penyanyi seperti Diana Ross, Cher, Tina Turner, Prince, Lauryn Hill, Sade Adu, Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Anita Baker, Rachelle Ferrell, & Mariah Carey.
